We’re releasing a bug reporting tool in Kinja that will simplify the flow for getting help.

Instead of requiring you to open a new tab, or open email, or open Slack, you can now choose the “Report an Issue” option from your user menu. This will bring up a form right in your Kinja tab that will request key pieces of information in order to help us get to the root of the issue.

The form automatically pulls the URL of the Kinja page you’re currently on as well as operating system and browser information, which will streamline the troubleshooting process. In the very near future, your email address and Kinja username will also be automatically populated, making it even easier to get help.
